Queen's Staircase

About Queen's Staircase

Sixty-six steps cut into solid limestone by enslaved people in the late 1700s, climbing a shaded gorge from downtown Nassau up to Fort Fincastle. The staircase was later named in honour of Queen Victoria. Free to visit and an easy walk from Bay Street.
